Important!

Within the coming months, new access requirements will be implemented for all users of any secured Web site (https://) provided by Geisinger Health System or Geisinger Health Plan.

In compliance with new governmental security provisions within the HITECH Act, forthcoming changes to Geisinger secured Web sites (https://) will only allow access to users with Transport Layer Security (TLS) enabled Web browsers. While there are many Web browsers available for use, some of the common Web browsers include Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Google Chrome.

TLS is a network protocol that ensures information going over the Internet between you and Geisinger is secured and cannot be viewed or accessed by anyone else. TLS will have to be enabled in your Web browser to make it compatible to access Geisinger secured Web sites (https://). Please check this site to verify that your Web browser is compatible: https://tlscheck.geisinger.org.

Once these changes have been implemented, you will receive a message indicating that the Geisinger secured web site (https://) is unavailable if you do NOT have a TLS enabled browser.
